I know it's hard... but don't give up on love.
I created this illustration with a couple of single friends in mind who had been going through some tough times in their relationships. They both were talking about giving up on love and they reminded me of snails pulling back into the safety of their shells. Romantic love isn't everything of course, but I knew they were both very lovable and did want to meet someone. I hoped to help inspire them to keep their hearts open so that they were not hiding away when the right person came along. Sometimes it's hard to be so vulnerable, but I also feel that there is a lot of power in staying out of your shell even when you are frightened. That's when magical things can happen...
The artwork was hand drawn on paper, and the colour added digitally. It's then printed onto beautiful, thick Hahnemühle mould-made paper produced at an environmentally-friendly paper mill in Germany and printed by us here in the UK. The paper is made from 100% cotton and has a rich, slightly dappled texture. It is museum quality and printed with high quality dye inks, to prevent it fading.
The print comes signed and unmounted, safely backed on coloured recycled card, and wrapped in biodegradable cellophane to protect it. The print is pretty enough to be given as a gift as it is, or ready for you to find the perfect frame.
Postage included: First class Royal Mail postage within the UK. Postage prices vary for Royal Mail standard delivery for the rest of the world.
